Laboratory Testing
(Blood Tests)
At My Specialist GP we are pleased to offer private lab testing options that can be booked online directly with our Healthcare Assistant(HCA) who is a very experienced Phlebotomist.
You can either choose to have one of the specific tests we offer or if you know exactly the test you need, you can request your own.
From time to time, your GP or another healthcare professional will advise you to undertake a specific blood test or you may have an interest in monitoring your own health.
At My Specialist GP, we want to encourage our patients to take control of their health by being able to book their own tests when their concerns arise.
These tests do not include a medical interpretation (although you can book one with us subsequently) but nearly all do include a reference range indicating normal levels. We do, however, strongly recommend your results be viewed by a medical practitioner to assist you with your health.
If you would like one of our Doctors to assist with the results you can book a 20 minutes consultation here:
Most results are back the following day and these will be emailed to you.
We have selected the most commonly requested test packages and tests for you to easily chose the correct test for you. The test packages are biochemical profiles which are a series of blood tests used to evaluate the functional capacity of several critical organs and systems, such as the liver and kidneys.
Some tests require fasting (nothing to eat or drink except water for 8 hours prior) so please check carefully before booking
You can read more and book your next Lab testing with us directly below.

The first visit will include a brief health questionnaire to make sure you are suitable and as it is a prescription treatment, our GP's will supervise your care.
